On April 24, 2025, the annual Anniversary Fire took place by the Čierny Potok stream in Jablonica. This tradition preserves the beautiful memories of uniting all crews and groups in one place. Each year, everyone looks forward to it even more. This year also featured a ceremonial scarfing of a new member.
The gathering of the entire port (48th Sea Scout Port “BUFO VIRIDIS” Senica) is almost a rarity, as we are divided into different age groups—from Cub Scouts to Rovers. Only on special occasions, when we plan joint meetings for multiple age groups, do we come together like this. Such an all-port gathering is therefore a long-planned event. Like every year, this year’s was a success too :)
Among the rare events is the already mentioned scarfing ceremony. Everyone always looks forward to it with great excitement. The combination of all elements brings its own kind of magic—time spent together, new experiences, new friendships. That’s why we do it: we bring young people together and guide them toward everyday responsibility :).
