On March 22, 2025, the regular cleaning of the pond in Borský Mikuláš took place. This year, the young people and volunteers from the 2nd Primary School in Senica also came to help.
They showed us that they can handle the great effort required to clean up after others who couldn't pick up their trash themselves. We were happy to involve them in our traditional ritual of "opening the boating season," which we organize every year around the first day of spring.
The pond was cleaned from the shore, but of course, also from the water – that is, from canoes and several kayaks under the supervision of our experienced steersmen. This activity showed our guests who is afraid of the water and who, on the other hand, is not.
After cleaning up and having fun with all the eco-activities, there was still time to roast something, and there was even a surprise in the form of motocross races.
We hope that our visitors enjoyed our joint event, and we are happy that they participated in such a lovely activity.
